Repentance and FaithThe message of the Bible is one of reconciliation, between a holy God and sinful man. The Bible explains why we are sinners and what that means--namely, that we are destined for eternal death. It tells the amazing story of grace, how that God is the Reconciler, who sent His perfect Son, Jesus, to die for the sins of mankind. Over and over the Scriptures call on individuals to repent of their sin and turn to Jesus Christ in faith, whose shed blood can wipe away their every sin. The promise is clear. Every person who genuinely puts his faith in the atoning work of the Savior, will be forgiven and be given the gift of eternal life. The cross on the left is appropriately empty. Jesus Christ arose from the grave three days after being buried, forever conquering man's most formidable foe. His resurrection is our guarantee and solid hope.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 1 John 5:12-13 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. |
